Acclaimed Palestinian refugee poet, Rafeef Ziadah, conducts an activist poetry workshop.

Rafeef Ziadah is acclaimed worldwide for her poetry on themes of exile, dispossession and resistance. Her iconic poems, ‘We Teach Life, Sir’ and ‘Shades of Anger’ went viral within days of their release online, with millions of views. Rafeef is an activist who currently lives in London.

She has conducted poetry workshops all over the world, most recently on tour in Australia.

Applicants are asked to submit a one page statement outlining why they feel this workshop is suitable for them.  Please send this to director@poetryireland.ie no later than Weds May 4th.  Please note that places are extremely limited.
